• Account information: email address, authentication provider, name supplied by that provider, and account identifiers.
• Air Guide profile: display name, age, gender selection, and whether extra respiratory-care guidance is requested. We do not ask for a diagnosis, medication, or medical records.
• Location: approximate or precise location only when you choose to share it through your browser. It is used to retrieve local air information. Browser permission can be withdrawn at any time.
• Messages: name, email, subject, and content submitted through the contact form.
• Technical information: security logs, device and browser information, IP address, and necessary session cookies generated by our hosting and authentication services.

We use account and profile information to authenticate you, save your preferences, and select age and respiratory-risk guidance. We use location to show local conditions. Contact details are used to answer your message. Technical information is used to keep the service secure, reliable, and understandable.

We do not sell personal information. Gender is used to understand our audience and does not independently change health guidance.

Saving an Air Guide profile is optional. Before it is saved, we ask for explicit permission to use age and respiratory-risk information for personalized guidance. You may withdraw that permission by deleting your account. General air-quality information remains available without a profile.

VayuDrishti provides educational guidance, not medical diagnosis or treatment. Seek advice from a qualified health professional for symptoms or medical decisions.

Accounts are intended for people who can legally agree to these terms. Information for a person under 18 must be entered and managed by their parent or legal guardian. Children should not create or manage an account independently. If you believe a child supplied information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can delete it.

We use service providers for hosting, authentication, content management, message delivery, and infrastructure. These currently include Vercel, Supabase, Sanity, and the authentication provider you choose, such as Google or LinkedIn. A provider receives only the information needed to deliver its part of the service and may process it outside Nepal under its own legal and security safeguards.

Account profiles are protected with account-level database rules. We use encrypted HTTPS connections and restrict administrative credentials to server environments. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

We keep profile information while your account remains active and remove it when the account is deleted, subject to short-lived backups and records that must be retained for security or legal reasons. Contact messages are retained only while reasonably needed to respond, maintain business records, and prevent abuse.

• Review or change your Air Guide profile from the profile page.
• Withdraw browser location permission in your browser settings.
• Delete your account and saved profile from the profile page.
• Ask us for access, correction, deletion, or a copy of information associated with your account by emailing us from the account address.

We may update this policy when the service or applicable requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide a prominent notice when a change materially affects how profile information is used.
